Hey lovely readers! ✨
There’s something incredibly satisfying about walking into a
room and knowing that it reflects your style – especially when you’ve done it
on a budget! Recently, I’ve been obsessively scouring my local Dollar Tree and
coming up with a bunch of amazing DIY decor ideas that look far more
expensive than they actually are. If you're all about getting the most bang for
your buck, then you're going to love what's coming next.
1. Elegant Candlestick Holders 🕯️
Materials: Glass taper candle holders, E6000 glue, spray
paint.
Directions:
- Take
two glass taper candle holders and glue them together bottom-to-bottom
using the E6000.
- Once
dry, spray paint in a color of your choice (matte black and gold are my
go-tos for a chic look).
- Voila!
An elegant candlestick holder that can cost up to $20 elsewhere.
2. Customized Storage Bins 📦
Materials: Dollar Tree storage bins, fabric or burlap, hot
glue.
Directions:
- Cut
your fabric to the size of the bin.
- Hot
glue the fabric neatly onto the bin, smoothing out any wrinkles as you go.
- Great
for stylishly organizing your belongings without breaking the bank.
3. Picture Frame Tray 🖼️
Materials: Dollar Tree picture frames (8x10 or larger),
drawer handles, paint or spray paint.
Directions:
- Remove
the glass from the frame and paint the frame in your desired color.
- Once
dried, reinsert the glass.
- Attach
drawer handles on the shorter sides.
- And
there you have it - a gorgeous tray perfect for serving or decoration!
4. Floral Wall Art 🌸
Materials: Dollar Tree faux flowers, canvas or plain wood
board, spray paint, hot glue.
Directions:
- Spray
paint your canvas or board in a color of your choice.
- Once
dried, arrange your faux flowers and hot glue them in place.
- This
can be hung on a wall or set on a mantle for a pop of color and texture.
5. Designer Mirror 🪞
Materials: Round or square Dollar Tree mirrors, packs of
small round mirrors or gem stickers, glue.
Directions:
- Start
by laying out the small round mirrors or gem stickers around the edge of
the bigger mirror to create a pattern.
